today I went in and did the beta exam for Exchange 2010, Configuring...

A lot of questions (75) and only 3 hours to complete it.. But I found it sufficient as I finished it in 1h30. However I get the test results in about 8 weeks so then we will see if I spend enough time on it

Anyway there isn't much to prepare yourselves with other then reviewing the new features of Exchange 2010 and playing with it in the lab.

As Microsoft mentions http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-662 this exams covers:

• Installing and Configuring Exchange 2010 (Different Roles, Pre-Requisites, etc...)
• Configuring Recipients and Public Folders (Resource Mailboxes, RBAC, Public Folders, Distribution Groups, etc...)
• Configuring Client Access such as Outlook Anywhere, Outlook Web Access, Activesync and some of the new features such as federated sharing
• Configuring Message Transport such as Transport Rules, RMS, Message Routing, Edge, Message Hygiene etc...
• Monitoring and Reporting covering all the different tools to troubleshoot, retrieve and analyze logs etc.
• High Availability and Recovery covering the DAG feature, Public Folder Availability, Backup/ Restore, Server Recovery
• Message Compliance and Security covering message records management, compliance, RMS, anti-virus etc..
